Biography

Arquitecto por la IE School of Architecture and Design, de Madrid, Borja Colom (Madrid, 1998) y artista multidisciplinar, compagina la creación de su obra con su profesión como arquitecto y diseñador de mobiliario. En 2019, presentó su primera coleccion en el mítico Bar Cock de Madrid: The Line Series, compuesta por 13 retratos basados en el estudio de la luz y el color. Desde entonces, su trabajo  que ha expuesto en el Misonny Art Festival, de Barcelona, el Pabellón de Must Wanted de CasaDecor, así como en diferentes galerías de México, Almería, Sotogrande y Madrid, ha estado centrado en la colección Arquitectura Liquida con la que busca “convertir el lienzo en una ventana, no solo interactuando con el receptor de la obra sino también con el espacio en el que esta se sitúa”
 

Architect graduated from IE School of Architecture and Design in Madrid, Borja Colom (born in Madrid in 1998) is a multidisciplinary artist who balances the creation of singular art pieces with his passion of developing spaces as an architect and furniture designer. In 2019, he presented his first artistic project at the iconic Bar Cock in Madrid: "The Line Series," where he exhibited 13 works based on the study of light and color. Since then, his work - which he has showcased at the Misonny Art Festival in Barcelona, the Must Wanted Pavilion at CasaDecor, as well as various galleries in Mexico, Almeria, Sotogrande, and Madrid - has been focused on the collection "Arquitectura Liquida," through which he aims to "transform the canvas into a window, not only interacting with the receptor of the artwork but also with the space in which it is placed."
